Subiaco Academy Trojans (Subiaco, AR) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Dardanelle Sand Lizards (Dardanelle, AR), 60-45 in a league bout.

With the win, Subiaco Academy upgrades its record to 17-1 on the season. The Trojans host Ozark (Ozark, AR) to clash with the Hillbillies in a 4A Region 4 bout on Saturday, January 13. The Hillbillies go into the bout with a record of 15-9. Ozark won 52-39 in their recent league bout against Fountain Lake (Hot Springs National Park, AR)

Next up, the Sand Lizards clash with the Pottsville Apaches (Pottsville, AR) in a 4A Region 4 bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Dardanelle will attempt to upgrade on its 12-7 season record. The Apaches go into the bout with a 7-7 record after their 52-43 league loss to Morrilton (Morrilton, AR).
