Hampton Christian Academy Warriors (Hampton, VA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Denbigh Baptist Christian Minutemen (Newport News, VA), 76-43 in a league bout.

With the win, Hampton Christian Academy upgrades its record to 13-3 on the season. The Warriors travel to StoneBridge (Chesapeake, VA) to clash with the Cavaliers in a VISAA Division IV bout on Friday, January 12. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a record of 4-6. StoneBridge lost 42-32 in their recent league bout against Greenbrier Christian Academy (Chesapeake, VA)

Next up, the Minutemen clash with the Portsmouth Christian Patriots (Portsmouth, VA) in a VISAA Division III bout, on Friday, January 12. Denbigh Baptist Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 9-3 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 6-8 record after their 85-28 non-league loss to Norfolk Collegiate (Norfolk, VA).
