Maryland High School Basketball - Flowers falls to DuVal

In Thursday's league match, the visiting DuVal Tigers basketball team scored a good 85-67 triumph over the Flowers Jaguars.

In their next game, the Tigers meet the Wise Pumas (Upper Marlboro, MD) in a Prince George's County 4A match, on Tuesday, January 16. DuVal will attempt to better on its 5-1 season record. The Pumas enter the match with a 6-2 record after their 77-42 league win over Northwestern (Hyattsville, MD).

With the defeat, Flowers moves to 8-2 on the year. The Jaguars host Douglass (Upper Marlboro, MD) to meet the Eagles in a non-league match on Saturday, January 13. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 6-3. Douglass won 75-56 in their recent league match against Potomac (Oxon Hill, MD)
