The Elverado Falcons basketball team scored 66 points and held the host Shawnee Redskins to 28 in the Falcons league triumph on Thursday.

The Falcons now sport a 7-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Meridian for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 13. Elverado will battle a Bobcats team coming off a 101-40 league win over Joppa-Maple Grove (Joppa, IL). The Bobcats record now stands at 11-4.

The Redskins (6-8) will now prepare for their contest against Dongola (Dongola, IL). The Demons enter the non-league contest with a 1-16 record. In their last contest, Dongola was routed by Cobden (Cobden, IL), 61-43, in a league contest.
