Holt Rams (Holt, MI) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Everett Vikings (Lansing, MI), 72-68 in a league bout.

With the win, Holt upgrades its record to 4-5 on the season. The Rams travel to Williamston (Williamston, MI) to clash with the Hornets in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 6-7.

Next up, the Vikings clash with the Portage Central Mustangs (Portage, MI) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 13. Everett will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 8-2 record after their 68-57 league win over Mattawan (Mattawan, MI).
