South Miami Cobras (Miami, FL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Everglades Prep Academy Panther (Homestead, FL), 73-49 in a non-league bout.

With the win, South Miami upgrades its record to 5-12 on the season. The Cobras travel to Varela (Miami, FL) to play the Vipers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Vipers go into the bout with a record of 3-9. Varela lost 69-42 in their recent league bout against Mater Academy Charter (Hialeah Gardens, FL)

Next up, the Panther play the Redland Christian Academy FALCONS (Homestead, FL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Everglades Prep Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record.
