The Fennimore Golden Eagles basketball team (Fennimore, WI), was overwhelmed 80-35 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Iowa-Grant Panthers (Livingston, WI)

The Panthers now possess a 2-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mineral Point for a Southwest Wisconsin Activities battle on Tuesday, January 16. Iowa-Grant will confront a Pointers team coming off a 74-32 league win over Riverdale (Muscoda, WI). The Pointers record now stands at 12-0.

The Golden Eagles (2-12) will now prepare for their battle against Southwestern (Hazel Green, WI). The Wildcats come into the Southwest Wisconsin Activities battle with a 8-4 record. In their last battle, Southwestern trounced Cuba City (Cuba City, WI), 63-60, in a league battle.
