In Thursday's non-league outing, the Sauk Rapids-Rice Storm (Sauk Rapids, MN) basketball squad nipped the host Fergus Falls Otters (Fergus Falls, MN), by a margin of 79-76.
The Storm (9-3) will now prepare for their outing against Moorhead (Moorhead, MN). The Spuds go into the AAAA Section 8 outing with a 5-7 record. In their last outing, Moorhead got by Bemidji (Bemidji, MN), 78-40, in a league outing.
