Pinewood Christian Patriots (Bellville, GA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host First Preparatory Christian Academy Highlanders (Hinesville, GA), 72-67 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Pinewood Christian upgrades its record to 8-3 on the season. The Patriots travel to Citizens Christian Academy (Douglas, GA) to clash with the Patriots in a non-league bout on Friday, January 12. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 7-8. Citizens Christian Academy lost 63-41 in their recent non-league bout against Frederica Academy (St. Simons Island, GA)

Next up, the Highlanders clash with the Central Fellowship Christian Academy Lancers (Macon, GA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 13. First Preparatory Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Lancers go into the bout with a 8-5 record after their 65-30 non-league win over Piedmont Academy (Monticello, GA).
