The Franklin Christian Academy Falcons basketball team (Franklin, TN), was nudged 56-54 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Franklin Classical School Knights (Franklin, TN)

The Knights now possess a 15-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Upperman for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 13. Franklin Classical School will battle a Bees team coming off a 58-46 league win over DeKalb County (Smithville, TN). The Bees record now stands at 10-3.

The Falcons (2-7) will now prepare for their battle against Franklin Road Christian (Murfreesboro, TN). The Minutemen come into the Tennessee State Independent battle with a 14-6 record. In their last battle, Franklin Road Christian edged Pleasant View Christian (Pleasant View, TN), 74-70, in a league battle.
