Georgia High School Basketball - Hancock Central overwhelms Glascock County

January 11, 2024: Gibson, GA 30810

Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Hancock Central Bulldogs (Sparta, GA) and the host Glascock County Panthers (Gibson, GA), saw Hancock Central's basketball squad wallop Glascock County by a tally of 84-26.

With the victory, Hancock Central improves its record to 3-7 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Johnson County (Wrightsville, GA) to confront the Trojans in a A D2 Region 5 challenge on Tuesday, January 16. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 1-5. Johnson County won 55-43 in their recent non-league challenge against Screven County (Sylvania, GA)

Next up, the Panthers confront the Wilkinson County Warriors (Irwinton, GA) in a A D2 Region 5 challenge, on Tuesday, January 16. Glascock County will attempt to improve on its 0-11 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 4-12 record after their 49-44 league win over Twiggs County (Jeffersonville, GA).
