Iota Bulldogs (Iota, LA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Gueydan Bears (Gueydan, LA), 74-38 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Iota upgrades its record to 14-3 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to North Vermilion (Maurice, LA) to clash with the Patriots in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 9-6.

Next up, the Bears clash with the Oberlin Tigers (Oberlin, LA) in a 1A District 5 bout, on Friday, January 19. Gueydan will attempt to upgrade on its 4-10 season record.
