The Highland Home Flying Squadron (Highland Home, AL) basketball knocked off the visiting Luverne Tigers (Luverne, AL), 58-41 in Thursday's league test.
The Flying Squadron (10-5) will now prepare for their test against Goshen (Goshen, AL). The Eagles go into the 2A Area 4 test with a 2-12 record.
The Tigers now own a 7-6 record. They play next when they host Brantley for a non-league test on Saturday, January 13. Luverne will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 54-43 league win over Kinston (Kinston, AL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 9-6.
