Connecticut High School Basketball - New Milford can't hold off Joel Barlow

The Joel Barlow Falcons basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting New Milford Green Wave to 51 in the Falcons league triumph on Thursday.

The Falcons now sport a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bethel for a Southwest contest on Saturday, January 13. Joel Barlow will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 61-28 league loss to Kolbe-Cathedral (Bridgeport, CT). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-6.

The Green Wave (2-6) will now prepare for their contest against Pomperaug (Southbury, CT). The Panthers enter the Southwest contest with a 3-5 record. In their last contest, Pomperaug was nudged by Masuk (Monroe, CT), 56-54, in a league contest.
