With the win, Linden upgrades its record to 1-12 on the season. The Patriots host Keith (Orrville, AL) to play the Bears in a 1A Area 6 bout on Friday, January 12. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 9-8. Keith won 74-29 in their recent league bout against Linden (Linden, AL)

Next up, the Eagles play the University Charter Trail Blazers (Livingston, AL) in a 1A Area 6 bout, on Friday, January 12. Johnson will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Trail Blazers go into the bout with a 5-13 record after their 54-38 non-league loss to Bibb County (Centreville, AL).
