The Louisiana Math Science & Arts Eagles basketball team (Natchitoches, LA), was overwhelmed 49-24 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Riverdale Academy Rebels (Coushatta, LA)

The Rebels now possess a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Claiborne Academy for a MAIS 2A District 4 battle on Friday, January 12. Riverdale Academy will confront a Rebels team coming off a 80-26 league win over Central School (Grand Cane, LA). The Rebels record now stands at 4-7.

The Eagles (3-2) will now prepare for their battle against Alexandria Homeschool Arts & Athletics (Alexandria, LA). The Storm come into the non-league battle with a 5-8 record.
