Alabama High School Basketball - Macon-East Montgomery Academy ripped by Valiant Cross Academy

In Thursday's league match, the visiting Valiant Cross Academy Warriors basketball team scored a decisive 54-32 triumph over the Macon-East Montgomery Academy Knights.

In their next game, the Warriors meet the Evangel Christian Lightning (Alabaster, AL) in a non-league match, on Monday, January 15. Valiant Cross Academy will attempt to better on its 10-4 season record. The Lightning enter the match with a 15-2 record after their 72-14 league win over Southern Christian (Opelika, AL).

With the defeat, Macon-East Montgomery Academy moves to 5-11 on the year. The Knights travel to Lee-Scott Academy (Auburn, AL) to meet the Warriors in a AISA AAA Region 1 match on Tuesday, January 16. The Warriors enter the match with a record of 18-2. Lee-Scott Academy lost 63-61 in their recent non-league match against Bessemer Academy (Bessemer, AL)
