Unity Christian Academy Phoenix (South Holland, IL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Mooseheart Red Ramblers (Mooseheart, IL), 70-50 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Unity Christian Academy upgrades its record to 6-6 on the season. The Phoenix host Grace Christian Academy (Kankakee, IL) to clash with the Crusaders in a non-league bout on Monday, January 15. The Crusaders go into the bout with a record of 2-12. Grace Christian Academy lost 61-51 in their recent league bout against Clifton Central (Clifton, IL)

Next up, the Red Ramblers clash with the Westminster Christian Warriors (Elgin, IL) in a Northeastern bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Mooseheart will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 0-10 record after their 52-48 non-league loss to Hiawatha (Kirkland, IL).
