Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Moravia Mohawks (Moravia, IA) and the host Wayne Falcons (Corydon, IA), saw Moravia's basketball squad hold off Wayne by a tally of 65-58.

With the victory, Moravia improves its record to 8-1 on the campaign. The Mohawks travel to Murray (Murray, IA) to confront the Mustangs in a Bluegrass challenge on Friday, January 12. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 8-5.

Next up, the Falcons confront the Southwest Valley (Corning, IA) in a Pride of Iowa challenge, on Friday, January 12. Wayne will attempt to improve on its 8-4 season record.
