Providence Academy/Rivertree (Plymouth, MN) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Mounds Park Academy Panthers (St. Paul, MN), 85-60 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Providence Academy/Rivertree upgrades its record to 3-8 on the season.

Next up, the Panthers play the Washington Tech Eagles (St. Paul, MN) in a AA Section 4 bout, on Friday, January 12. Mounds Park Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 2-11 record after their 81-47 non-league loss to Harding (St. Paul, MN).
