California High School Basketball - West Park tops Nevada Union

January 11, 2024: Grass Valley, CA 95945

West Park Panthers (Roseville, CA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Nevada Union Miners (Grass Valley, CA), 54-38 in a league bout.

With the victory, West Park upgrades its record to 13-6 on the campaign. The Panthers host Ponderosa (Shingle Springs, CA) to play the Bruins in a Foothill Valley bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Bruins come into the bout with a record of 10-9. Ponderosa won 61-60 in their recent non-league bout against Davis Sr. (Davis, CA)

Next up, the Miners play the Placer Hillmen (Auburn, CA) in a Foothill Valley bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Nevada Union will attempt to upgrade on its 12-8 season record. The Hillmen come into the bout with a 18-2 record after their 74-45 league win over Lincoln (Lincoln, CA).
