New London Tigers (New London, IA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Van Buren County Warriors (Keosauqua, IA), 62-39 in a non-league bout.

With the win, New London upgrades its record to 3-8 on the season. The Tigers host Central Lee (Donnellson, IA) to clash with the Hawks in a SEI - South bout on Friday, January 12. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 5-5.

Next up, the Warriors clash with the Notre Dame Nikes (Burlington, IA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 12. Van Buren County will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record.
