The Northfield Raiders basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Winona Winhawks to 59 in the Raiders league triumph on Thursday.

The Raiders now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Austin for a AAA Section 1 contest on Saturday, January 13. Northfield will meet a Packers team coming off a 75-59 league win over Red Wing (Red Wing, MN). The Packers record now stands at 3-8.

The Winhawks (2-10) will now prepare for their contest against Red Wing (Red Wing, MN). The Wingers enter the AAA Section 1 contest with a 6-6 record. In their last contest, Red Wing was nudged by Austin (Austin, MN), 75-59, in a league contest.
