New Jersey High School Basketball - West Caldwell Tech can't hold off Nutley

The Nutley Maroon Raiders basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the visiting West Caldwell Tech Eagles to 53 in the Maroon Raiders league victory on Thursday.
The Maroon Raiders now sport a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fort Lee for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 13. Nutley will battle a Bridgemen team coming off a 55-50 league loss to Cliffside Park (Cliffside Park, NJ). The Bridgemen record now stands at 3-8.
The Eagles (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Weequahic (Newark, NJ). The Indians come into the non-league contest with a 3-6 record. In their last contest, Weequahic was nudged by Newark Academy (Livingston, NJ), 48-47, in a league contest.
