With the victory, Pekin improves its record to 6-6 on the campaign. The Panthers host Winfield-Mt. Union (Winfield, IA) to play the Wolves in a SEI - North challenge on Friday, January 12. The Wolves come into the challenge with a record of 11-1. Winfield-Mt. Union won 95-48 in their recent league challenge against Louisa-Muscatine (Letts, IA)

Next up, the Indians play the WACO Warriors (Wayland, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 12. Wapello will attempt to improve on its 5-7 season record.
