Pinewood Panthers (Los Altos Hills, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Rise University Prep Panthers (San Francisco, CA), 63-51 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Pinewood upgrades its record to 10-4 on the season. The Panthers host Harker (San Jose, CA) to play the Eagles in a West Bay bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 4-11. Harker lost 78-42 in their recent league bout against King's Academy (Sunnyvale, CA)

Next up, the Panthers play the Drew Dragons (San Francisco, CA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 25. Rise University Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record.
