Seymour Thunder (Seymour, WI) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Sturgeon Bay Clippers (Sturgeon Bay, WI), 75-57 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Seymour upgrades its record to 5-5 on the campaign. The Thunder host Shawano Community (Shawano, WI) to play the Hawks in a Bay bout on Friday, January 12. The Hawks come into the bout with a record of 4-9. Shawano Community won 70-29 in their recent league bout against Green Bay East (Green Bay, WI)

Next up, the Clippers play the Gibraltar Vikings (Fish Creek, WI) in a Packerland test, on Friday, January 12. Sturgeon Bay will attempt to advance on its 6-6 season record.
