California High School Basketball - St. Monica Academy knocked off by Vasquez

The Vasquez Mustangs basketball team scored 76 points and held the visiting St. Monica Academy Crusaders to 67 in the Mustangs league triumph on Thursday.

The Mustangs now sport a 14-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Golden Valley for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 13. Vasquez will battle a Grizzlies team coming off a 73-36 league loss to West Ranch (Valencia, CA). The Grizzlies record now stands at 13-7.

The Crusaders (14-8) will now prepare for their contest against More (San Jose, CA). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 6-5 record. In their last contest, More ran past Mid-Peninsula (Menlo Park, CA), 75-33, in a league contest.
