The Air Academy Kadets basketball team (US Air Force Academy, CO), was defeated 66-56 in Thursday's league contest with the host Lewis-Palmer Rangers (Monument, CO)
The Rangers now sport a 9-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pueblo East for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 13. Lewis-Palmer will battle a Eagles team coming off a 62-36 non-league loss to Mesa Ridge (Colorado Springs, CO). The Eagles record now stands at 0-1.
The Kadets (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Discovery Canyon (Colorado Springs, CO). The Thunder enter the contest with a 6-2 record. In their last contest, Discovery Canyon ran past Rampart (Colorado Springs, CO), 51-26, in a non-league contest.
