The Barstow Aztecs basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting Silverado Hawks to 34 in the Aztecs league triumph on Thursday.
The Aztecs now sport a 8-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Granite Hills for a contest on Tuesday, January 16. Barstow will battle a Cougars team coming off a 44-43 league win over Adelanto (Adelanto, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 1-1.
The Hawks (7-5) will now prepare for their contest against Victor Valley (Victorville, CA). The Jackrabbits enter the contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, Victor Valley was routed by Adelanto (Adelanto, CA), 67-42, in a league contest.
