The St. Joseph Notre Dame Pilots basketball team scored 68 points and held the visiting Castro Valley Trojans to 49 in the Pilots league triumph on Thursday.

The Pilots now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Piedmont for a contest on Friday, January 12. St. Joseph Notre Dame will battle a Highlanders team coming off a 56-40 league loss to Alameda (Alameda, CA). The Highlanders record now stands at 1-4.

The Trojans (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Berkeley (Berkeley, CA). The Yellowjackets enter the contest with a 7-2 record. In their last contest, Berkeley was defeated by Bishop O'Dowd (Oakland, CA), 52-51, in a league contest.
