In Thursday's league match, the host South Aiken Thoroughbreds basketball team scored a decisive 51-26 triumph over the Airport Eagles.
In their next game, the Thoroughbreds meet the Midland Valley Mustangs (Graniteville, SC) in a AAAA Region 4 match, on Tuesday, January 16. South Aiken will attempt to move on its 8-9 season record. The Mustangs enter the match with a 5-13 record after their 65-52 league loss to Airport (West Columbia, SC).
