The Roosevelt Bears (Wyandotte, MI) basketball crushed the host Allen Park Jaguars (Allen Park, MI), 35-9 in Thursday's league test.

The Bears (5-3) will now prepare for their test against Edsel Ford (Dearborn, MI). The Thunderbirds go into the Downriver test with a 2-6 record. In their last test, Edsel Ford was trounced by Trenton (Trenton, MI), 38-17, in a league test.

The Jaguars now own a 2-7 record. They play next when they host Carlson for a Downriver test on Tuesday, January 16. Allen Park will encounter a Marauders squad coming off a 43-34 league loss to Woodhaven (Brownstown, MI). The Marauders record now stands at 4-5.
