Wendover Wildcats (Wendover, UT) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Altamont Longhorns (Altamont, UT), 50-28 in a league bout.

With the win, Wendover upgrades its record to 10-3 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Manila (Manila, UT) to play the Mustangs in a 1A Region 22 bout on Friday, January 19. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 9-5. Manila lost 42-37 in their recent league bout against Tabiona (Tabiona, UT)

Next up, the Longhorns play the Tabiona Tigers (Tabiona, UT) in a 1A Region 22 bout, on Wednesday, January 17. Altamont will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 11-3 record after their 42-37 league win over Manila (Manila, UT).
