Animo De La Hoya Boxers (Los Angeles, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Los Angeles Leadership Academy Lions (Los Angeles, CA), 19-12 in a league bout.
With the win, Animo De La Hoya upgrades its record to 2-7 on the season. The Boxers host Smidt Tech (Los Angeles, CA) to clash with the Grey Wolves in a Galaxy bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Grey Wolves go into the bout with a record of 3-8.
Next up, the Lions clash with the Camino Nuevo Dalzell Lance Campus Tigers (Los Angeles, CA) in a Galaxy bout, on Thursday, January 18. Los Angeles Leadership Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-9 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 6-4 record after their 31-17 league win over Rise Kohyang (Los Angeles, CA).
