West Virginia High School Basketball - Braxton County topples Notre Dame

January 11, 2024: Clarksburg, WV 26301

In Thursday's non-league outing, the Braxton County Eagles (Sutton, WV) basketball squad beat the host Notre Dame Fighting Irish (Clarksburg, WV), by a count of 60-40.

The Eagles (7-7) will now prepare for their outing against Gilmer County (Glenville, WV). The Titans go into the Little Kanawha - East outing with a 10-0 record. In their last outing, Gilmer County defeated Winfield (Winfield, WV), 68-40, in a non-league outing.

The Fighting Irish now hold a 4-7 record. They play next when they travel to Richwood for a non-league outing on Saturday, January 13. Notre Dame will clash with a Lumberjacks squad coming off a 51-28 league loss to Greenbrier West (Charmco, WV). The Lumberjacks record now stands at 5-5.
