Illinois High School Basketball - Salem ripped by Breese Central

The Breese Central Cougars basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Salem Wildcats to 12 in the Cougars league triumph on Thursday.
The Cougars now sport a 17-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Waterloo for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 13. Breese Central will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 49-28 league loss to Triad (Troy, IL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-13.
The Wildcats (11-10) will now prepare for their contest against Mascoutah (Mascoutah, IL). The Indians enter the non-league contest with a 4-14 record.
