The Taylor Prep Tigers basketball team scored 62 points and held the host Canton Preparatory Chargers to 42 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Tigers now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Clarenceville for a non-league contest on Friday, January 12. Taylor Prep will meet a Trojans team coming off a 51-20 non-league win over Novi Christian Academy (Novi, MI). The Trojans record now stands at 6-2.

The Chargers (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Whitmore Lake (Whitmore Lake, MI). The Trojans come into the non-league challenge with a 2-5 record. In their last challenge, Whitmore Lake was dropped by Oakland Christian (Auburn Hills, MI), 44-15, in a non-league challenge.
