Maine High School Basketball - Central Aroostook trounces Madawaska

The Central Aroostook Panthers (Mars Hill, ME) basketball crushed the visiting Madawaska Owls (Madawaska, ME), 64-4 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Panthers (5-4) will now prepare for their test against Katahdin (Sherman Station, ME). The Cougars go into the D North test with a 6-2 record.
The Owls now own a 1-8 record. They play next when they travel to Easton for a non-league outing on Monday, January 15. Madawaska will clash with a Bears squad coming off a 26-25 non-league win over Fort Fairfield (Fort Fairfield, ME). The Bears record now stands at 4-5.
