The Friendly Patriots basketball team scored 53 points and held the host Central Falcons to 27 in the Patriots league triumph on Thursday.

The Patriots now sport a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oxon Hill for a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A contest on Tuesday, January 16. Friendly will battle a Clippers team coming off a 61-45 non-league loss to Mt. Zion Prep Academy (Lanham, MD). The Clippers record now stands at 9-3.

The Falcons (2-6) will now prepare for their contest against Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North (Laurel, MD). The Tigers enter the Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A contest with a 3-3 record. In their last contest, Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North was routed by Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South (Upper Marlboro, MD), 48-42, in a league contest.
