With the win, Chatfield upgrades its record to 10-6 on the season. The Gophers host Fillmore Central (Harmony, MN) to play the Falcons in a non-league bout on Friday, January 19. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 7-8.

Next up, the Lancers play the Wabasha-Kellogg Falcons (Wabasha, MN) in a A Section 1 bout, on Monday, January 15. La Crescent will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 1-11 record after their 61-40 non-league loss to Grand Meadow (Grand Meadow, MN).
