Chatham Cougars (Chatham, NJ) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Montville Mustangs (Montville, NJ), 53-30 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Chatham upgrades its record to 10-1 on the season. The Cougars travel to NV - Old Tappan (Old Tappan, NJ) to clash with the Golden Knights in a non-league bout on Sunday, January 14. The Golden Knights go into the bout with a record of 7-4. NV - Old Tappan lost 48-40 in their recent league bout against Teaneck (Teaneck, NJ)

Next up, the Mustangs clash with the Morristown Colonials (Morristown, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Montville will attempt to upgrade on its 2-8 season record.
