Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Greensburg Central Catholic thwarts Clairton

The Greensburg Central Catholic Centurions (Greensburg, PA) basketball knocked off the visiting Clairton Bears (Clairton, PA), 78-60 in Thursday's league test.
The Centurions (6-4) will now prepare for their test against Springdale (Springdale, PA). The Dynamos go into the WPIAL 2A 3 test with a 3-7 record. In their last test, Springdale notched a victory over Ellis (Pittsburgh, PA), 26-22, in a league test.
The Bears now own a 7-2 record. They play next when they travel to Frazier for a non-league test on Saturday, January 13. Clairton will encounter a Commodores squad coming off a 46-30 league win over Carmichaels (Carmichaels, PA). The Commodores record now stands at 5-7.
