The Clarke County Bulldogs (Grove Hill, AL) basketball nipped the host Wilcox Central Jaguars (Camden, AL), 42-38 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Bulldogs (8-9) will now prepare for their test against Chickasaw (Chickasaw, AL). The Chieftains go into the 2A Area 1 test with a 2-10 record. In their last test, Chickasaw was tipped by Blacksher (Uriah, AL), 52-38, in a league test.
The Jaguars now own a 9-9 record. They play next when they host Dallas County for a 4A Area 5 test on Monday, January 15. Wilcox Central will encounter a Hornets squad coming off a 79-15 league loss to Prattville Christian Academy (Prattville, AL). The Hornets record now stands at 2-14.
