The Cranston East Thunderbolts basketball team (Cranston, RI), dropped 52-39 in Thursday's league battle with the host Mt. Hope Huskies (Bristol, RI)

The Huskies now possess a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Somerset Berkley Regional for a non-league battle on Friday, January 12. Mt. Hope will battle a Raiders team coming off a 53-35 league loss to Old Rochester Regional (Mattapoisett, MA). The Raiders record now stands at 1-2.

The Thunderbolts (2-7) will now prepare for their battle against Tiverton (Tiverton, RI). The Tigers come into the Division 2 battle with a 2-7 record. In their last battle, Tiverton dropped by Moses Brown (Providence, RI), 63-34, in a league battle.
