The South Carolina School for the Deaf & Blind Hornets basketball team (Spartanburg, SC), was overwhelmed 39-13 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Dixie Hornets (Due West, SC)
The Hornets now possess a 4-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Thornwell for a A Region 2 battle on Tuesday, January 16. Dixie will confront a Saints team coming off a 40-15 league loss to Calhoun Falls Charter (Calhoun Falls, SC). The Saints record now stands at 0-3.
The Hornets (0-4) will now prepare for their battle against Whitmire (Whitmire, SC). The Wolverines come into the A Region 2 battle with a 0-11 record. In their last battle, Whitmire was overwhelmed by Dixie (Due West, SC), 53-29, in a league battle.
