The Fair Lawn Cutters (Fair Lawn, NJ) basketball knocked off the host Passaic Valley Hornets (Little Falls, NJ), 50-33 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Cutters (3-3) will now prepare for their test against Hasbrouck Heights (Hasbrouck Heights, NJ). The Aviators go into the non-league test with a 6-2 record.
The Hornets now own a 6-4 record. They play next when they travel to Lakeland Regional for a Big North - Independence test on Tuesday, January 16. Passaic Valley will encounter a Lancers squad coming off a 52-44 non-league loss to Wayne Hills (Wayne, NJ). The Lancers record now stands at 2-8.
