West Virginia High School Basketball - Fort Frye crushes Point Pleasant

January 11, 2024: Point Pleasant, WV 25550

Fort Frye Cadets (Beverly, OH) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Point Pleasant Big Blacks (Point Pleasant, WV), 42-18 in a league bout.

With the victory, Fort Frye upgrades its record to 10-4 on the campaign. The Cadets travel to Warren (Vincent, OH) to play the Warriors in a Twin State bout on Saturday, January 13. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 9-3. Warren won 57-46 in their recent league bout against Marietta (Marietta, OH)

Next up, the Big Blacks play the Wahama White Falcons (Mason, WV) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 15. Point Pleasant will attempt to upgrade on its 7-4 season record. The White Falcons come into the bout with a 3-4 record after their 43-39 league loss to Ritchie County (Ellenboro, WV).
