The Thomas Jefferson Vikings basketball team (Richmond, VA), was overwhelmed 60-23 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Freeman Mavericks (Richmond, VA)

The Mavericks now possess a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Glen Allen for a Colonial battle on Friday, January 12. Freeman will battle a Jaguars team coming off a 43-33 non-league loss to Massaponax (Spotsylvania, VA). The Jaguars record now stands at 6-3.

The Vikings (1-9) will now prepare for their battle against Deep Run (Glen Allen, VA). The Wildcats come into the Colonial battle with a 8-3 record. In their last battle, Deep Run was overwhelmed by Highland Springs (Highland Springs, VA), 53-41, in a non-league battle.
