Connecticut High School Basketball - Griswold can't hold off St. Bernard

The St. Bernard Saints basketball team scored 45 points and held the visiting Griswold Wolverines to 41 in the Saints non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Saints now sport a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Plainfield for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 16. St. Bernard will battle a Panthers team coming off a 58-35 non-league win over Putnam (Putnam, CT). The Panthers record now stands at 7-3.
The Wolverines (1-7) will now prepare for their contest against Norwich Free Academy (Norwich, CT). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 5-5 record. In their last contest, Norwich Free Academy nudged Bacon Academy (Colchester, CT), 49-36, in a non-league contest.
